Al fin llegó el día del primer show de nuestro “Join US Tour”. La cita fue en el marco del International Pop Overthrow Festival, un festival que reúne a los exponentes más importantes del power pop internacional. El show fue un bello pub de Pico Blvd, “The Joint”.
A las 8pm subimos al escenario y fuimos los encargados de abrir la noche en donde conocimos a mucha gente del ambiente del pop californiano, entre ellos bandas y periodistas.
Tocamos un set de 8 canciones en donde alternamos entre canciones de nuestro disco debut y canciones que formarán parte de nuestro próximo trabajo. También aprovechamos la ocasión para homenajear a Badfinger y Traveling Wilburys.
Nuestro primer show en Estados Unidos nos mostró que estamos en el buen camino…mañana temprano salimos con destino a Las Vegas en donde tocaremos en el Hard Rock Café.

Today was the day of the first date of our “Join US Tour”, and it was part of the International Pop Overthrow Festival, an event that reunites the best bands of the power pop from all around the world…and there we were, opening the festival`s night at “The Joint”, a really nice pub on Pico Blvd.
We hit the stage around 8pm and we played an eight songs set that included songs from our debut album, a couple of the new ones and our little tribute to Badfinger and Traveling Wilburys…it was really cool to play in front of such lovely audience and having the chance to meet some nice bands and pressmen of the California pop scene.
This first performance showed us that we`re on the right track…tomorrow we`ll be driving to Vegas for a concert at the Hard Rock Café.
